European Porsche tuner Oakley Design has branched out recently, adding Lamborghinis as well as the Ferrari 458 Italia to its repertoire. Now, the tuner is apparently readying another modified prancing horse -- Ferrari’s new F12 Berlinetta flagship GT, as these images from Oakley Design show.
Though no details have been released about the Oakley Design F12 Berlinetta, these images reveal additional carbon fiber bits as well as a lower ride and new wheels similar to the HRE setup on the Oakley Design 458 Italia. New carbon fiber pieces include the front bumper, side skirts, rear vents, and rear fascia. Single oval exhaust tips replace the dual round tips on each side. There’s no word on whether the new aero pieces will be functional, but Oakley's custom front and rear spoilers created an extra 99 and 55 pounds of downforce, respectively, on the 458 Italia. Oakley Design hasn’t revealed any horsepower increases for the F12 Berlinetta’s 6.3-liter V-12, but considering the company was able to add 48 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque to the 458 Italia’s 4.5-liter V-8 via a new air intake and remapped computer, you can likely expect similar increases over the stock F12 Berlinetta’s 731 horsepower. Expect the Oakley Design Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to command a premium over the stock car’s estimated $330,000 base price.
