For lovers of all cool cars, the Hennessy Venom GT is like that birthday gift you found in your parent’s closet as a kid. You knew it was there. You couldn’t stop thinking about it. But you weren’t getting your eyes or hands on it soon enough. In the case of the Venom GT, your parent is making matters worse by teasing you with glimpses.


Hennessey Venom GT promises ridiculous performance of 2.4 seconds to 60 mph and a 272 mph top speed. The $600,000 ultra-car will officially debut on March 30, so your birthday isn’t that far away.

What you can (barely) see above is the upcoming Hennessey Venom GT - a Lotus Elise-based supercar with 1,200bhp.


The mad Venom GT will be fully revealed at the end of the month, and is being planned for a debut at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Bugatti Veyron engineers are reportedly not bothered.
